ALVIN (Special) - Services for Esperanza Arocha Renken, 51, of Manvel will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Froberg Funeral Home Chapel with Rabbi Roy Walter of Temple Emanuel officiating.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Houston National Cemetery.
She died Monday, Sept. 7, 1998, in Methodist Hospital in Houston.
She was born Jan. 11, 1947, in Alvin. She moved to the Alvin area in 1976. She was a contract specialist for Chevron Oil Co., and she was a member of the Temple Emanuel. She was a member of the Chevron Oil Worldwide Oil Spill Response Team, and she was active in Adopt-A-Beach Program for Chevron. She was active in the March of Dimes Walk-America.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Michael Louis of Manvel and Marc Allan of Texas City; six sisters, Janie Sanchez, Rose Zamora, Edith Franklin and Linda Contreras, all of Lubbock, and Josephine Delgado and Mary Ann Carranza, both of Fort Worth; five brothers, Fred Arocha, Gilbert Arocha, Donald Arocha and Fermin Arocha, all of Lubbock, and Ricky Arocha of El Paso; and seven grandchildren.
